Accommodation

	Comfortable accommodation in decent hotels will be provided at all destinations. Rooms would be allotted on twin sharing basis. However, a separate AC/Non-AC room will be given to every family. This allocation essentially depends on the local management.
	Tent or guest house would be made available for accommodation among 2 or 4 persons in Amarnath/Chardham tours.
	For children in the age group 1 to 4 years, 10% of the total Tour Cost would have to be paid as their price. Separate bed/mattress will not be provided to these kids. Also, separate seat in the bus will not be allotted.
	A concession of Rs.3,000/- of the total Tour Cost will be given to children in the age group 1 to 5 years. Separate mattress will also be provided for staying with parents. However, if independent room is required, full charges are applicable.
	Single guests will have to pay 40% additional amount of the total Tour Cost if they opt for or desire to have a separate room.

Bus travel

	In bus transit on all tours, seats would be available on first-come-first-serve basis.
	Buses of different seating capacity will be pressed into service depending on the total strength of guests in any given tour; these could be 19, 22, 27, 35 or 42-seater buses in 2x1 or 2x2 configuration.
	If the headcount happens to be low, alternate vehicles like Tempo Traveller could be hired.
	Intimation will be given whenever AC bus is available. However, the AC system will not be operable in mountainous terrain or in ghat sections.
	The bus cost will include the fare till such point the bus can practically reach. At certain places, guests will have to alight from the bus and travel in auto rickshaw, jeep or on horseback. In such situations, guests will have to bear the extra cost. Moreover, Entry Fee for historical monuments, parks, museums; cost for boating, mini train rides, etc., will be paid up by the guests.

Tour Booking

To book & confirm your tour, kindly pay an amount of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only). Also you must separately pay the Rail journey cost/Air fare. In case you are booking the train or plane ticket individually, please specify it on the Booking Form and arrange to pay the balance amount of the Tour Cost 20 days prior to commencement of the tour. Customers from Pune have to pay in cash/cheque; outstation customers must deposit the amount in the name of ‘Pavan Tours’ in the bank as per the account details given below:

Cancellation policy

If, for any reason whatsoever, the customer cannot accompany on the tour, a certain amount would be deducted as under:

	60 to 45 days before the Tour commencement: Rs.5,000/-
	45 to 30 days before the Tour commencement: 40%
	30 to 15 days before the Tour commencement: 50%
	15 to 7 days before the Tour commencement: 65%
	7 to 2 days before the Tour commencement: 75%
	If you cancel the tour on the day prior to the commencement or on the very same day, 100% amount would be forfeited as cancellation charges

Travel concessions

LTC facility : Pavan Tours will make arrangements for LTC/LFC documents for government employees
Senior Citizen discount : Individuals who are 60 years of age or above (gents)/58 years of age or above (ladies) are entitled to 30% concession (gents) and 50% concession (ladies) in rail fare. However, such persons must carry their Age Proof/ID during the train travel. Also, this facility can be availed only if the ticked is reserved 61 days in advance before commencement of the tour. Please note that the Tour Cost does not include the rail fare.

Disclaimer

It is every individual customer’s responsibility to safeguard life and material possessions. The Company shall not be liable to any losses or damage, in any way whatsoever, during the tour.

Incidental expenses

If for any unforeseen reason the Company has to extend the tour duration, an amount of Rs.1,250/- per head per day will be charged.

General terms

	The Company’s experienced staff and Tour Manager will accompany customers on each and every tour. Local guides will also be arranged to provide escort wherever required.
	Customers must behave decently with all others during the tour. If there is any nuisance or botheration from other member(s), the matter is to be brought to the notice of the Tour Manager immediately. Customers should not argue or quarrel among themselves.
	Those destinations that are easily reachable by walk, customers must visit such places on foot only. Also, the Tour manager will only give advice and guidance regarding local shopping.
	Laundry facility will be provided at hotels during the tour and the Tour Manager will issue suitable instructions regarding the same. However, the customer has to pay for this service.
	First aid will be made available during the tour and minor illnesses will be attended to by the Company. However, if it is a serious medical condition, then the customer will have to seek assistance from local doctors/hospital and will have to bear all medical expenses.
	Priests will be arranged for performing religious rituals and sanctifying the holy dip (in rivers/kund) at spiritual destinations. However, the cost has to be borne by the customer.

Train travel

	The Tour Cost does not include the rail or air fare. Customers must pay the charges separately for train or plane journey at the time of booking the tour.
	The Company shall not make arrangements for tea/coffee, breakfast and meals during the train/plane journey.
	Railway reservation can be done 60 days in advance (excluding the day of travel commencement). Hence the tour must be booked accordingly prior to that specific date.
	Since the booking of train seats is done through a computerized system, there is no assurance that members from the same family/group will get adjacent berths. Also, there is no guarantee about allotment of upper, lower or side berths as per individual preference. Hence customers are advised not to complain in this regard.
	All customers are supposed to carry the requisite documents in original (such as Voter ID, PAN Card, Driving License, etc.). Please note that you could be penalized by the Railway authorities for not carrying the Photo ID in original.
	It is the customer’s individual responsibility to look after and carry their luggage (on the platform or into/out of the train). If porter’s services are availed, they have to bear the cost for the same.
